Maktub in arabic means ‘it is written.’ When something is written or penned down as a result of experience or imagination it becomes a permanent part of memory, conscious or subconscious. All these memories form our life and who we are. It is our choices, our own selective share of experiences and emotions. It is how you perceive the world and expect it to be. It is also something that becomes your destiny, whether you believe in one you create or the one already created for you. Either way, destiny is a path; for some it constructs, for others it unfolds.
